Complete Regeneration have completed works on the £32.8m development project at Royal Oldham Hospital, Greater Manchester. The contract was being carried out by IHP (Joint Venture between Vinci Construction and Sir Robert McAlpine).
Works were completed on Wards F2, F3, F4, F5, F6, The Lucy Pugh Building and the A & E Department. Works on the various phases included asbestos removal, strip-out works and internal demolition.
Due to the hospital remaining fully operational throughout the works, the site team worked around live resuscitation departments, intensive care units and theatres. Complete worked closely with the client to ensure strict working practices were adhered to which included noise restrictions and dust control and also the minimum of disruption to the hospital and the patients.
