Complete Regeneration carried out the specialist demolition works on the former Masonic Lodge in Chorlton, Manchester for Cruden Construction.
Demolition equipment delicately dismantled the structure. The main facade of the original Victorian Building was retained to ensure the character and history of the lodge remained. The experienced site team set about separating the facade from the rest of the building by removing the roof and demolishing all walls by hand. Part of the steel structure had to be removed using a 50 tonne crane which meant producing detailed lifting plans. On completion of the separation the remainder of the structure was mechanically demolished using excavators fitted with specialist equipment.
100% of the materials were recycled and diverted from landfill.
