Complete Regeneration carried out the specialist demolition works on a variety of structures on Church Walk, Knutsford.
Works commenced with the removal of non-notifiable asbestos, which was followed by mechanical demolition of a selection of the redundant buildings.
A section of the boundary wall that forms the river wall was open with no concrete covers. Sand bags were placed at the bottom of the wall in the water to build up to pavement level. Plyboard sheets were laid across the opening from the pavement side to the sand bags to give a level surface. This prevented any debris entering the water of the River Lilly. Operatives working from a step podium then took out a section of the boundary wall to separate the demolition from the adjoining property prior to the mechanical demolition of the following buildings.
