The Grain Store, Cheshire

Complete Demolition carried out specialist demolition works on a steel framed structure with a pitched cement asbestos clad roof which was formally used as a grain store.

There was a badger set to the southern boundary of the site. The badger set was outside the 20 metre exclusion zone for demolition. However, prior to any demolition work commencing the 20 metre exclusion zone was demarcated using road pins and bunting tape. No labour, plant or materials entered the exclusion zone during the demolition process.

Prior to the dismantling works commencing the experienced site team removed the non-notifiable asbestos materials using the appropriate PPE.  The steel structure was then carefully dismantled using specialist cutting shears.
